Hey, hey, hey, company parties are around the corner. Some dread them, others wait all year for them. Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Rosh Hashanah”¦
Lots of things are associated with these gatherings”¦the main one for me? Food.
Here’s a couple of favorite recipes for you to share with your associates, friends and relatives”¦
BANANNA BREAD
· 1 ½ cup of sugar
· ½ cup of soft butter
· 2 eggs
· 2 cups flour
· 1 teaspoon baking soda
· 5 tablespoons sour milk (milk with 1 tablespoon of vinegar)
· 4 very ripe bananas
· ¼ teaspoon salt
· MIX all ingredients and pour into greased and floured bread pan
· Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour
PARTY POPCORN 1, 2, 3
· 1 twelve ounce bag white chocolate chips
· 2 bags lite buttered microwave popcorn
· 3 Squares white almond bark
(1, 2, 3)
· POP popcorn and put in large bowl
· Melt Squares of bark, then chips, and mix and pour over popcorn and stir
Nothing like a little food to bring people together. For my refined sugar watchers”¦fresh fruit works too.
Have fun!!!
