Sometimes the only way I can get someone’s attention is to say something like, “Hey, want to make more money or not?”

…Why in the world is it so difficult to understand?

If you want to influence, persuade, or get your point across you must understand the other person’s emotional state of mind.

Great Leaders lead, and the portal to a deeper level of trust is through the understanding of emotional intelligence.

I refer to that as meeting another person where they are at.  This is no longer considered “touchy feely” stuff in the business world.

This is being grounded in science, neuroscience specifically.

Harvard, Stanford, and others are applauding the traction the importance of emotional intelligence (EQ) is making in the business world.

EQ is now the new IQ.

And please, wake up to a new way of leading!
