Another great reminder for me today.
It had to do with my clients, my client’s leadership teams, my client’s direct reports, and my client’s associates…
All, at some point, had come to a crossroads with their own leadership.

Here are some questions to ponder;
• What does really good leadership look like to you?
• Are you practicing that style of leadership?
• Are you consciously noticing the subtle differences in how you are showing up?
• How do you lead?
Leadership is a process.
A process compiled of personal experiences, willingness to look at the gaps, and vulnerability.

My leadership is stacked upon decades.
Decades filled with…
-Failures and successes
-Humility and grace
-Courage and terror

And now I get to look at it, objectively, through my clients. Getting really clear glimpses of it. And in it, I get to see my beautifully flawed essence and wisdom.
I love that. Makes me feel whole.

Realizing, once again, that it is what it is.

I’ll leave you with a note from Confucius;
By three methods may we learn wisdom:
First, by reflection, which is noblest;
Second, by imitation, which is easiest;
Third, by experience, which is bittersweet. ????

So cut yourSelf some slack today, it’s all a process.
Reflect in the moments, KNOWING, you are enough.
